Student Conduct and Policies

Respectful Conduct

All students are expected to conduct themselves with respect, curiosity, and kindness. Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate removal from class without a refund. This applies to both group and private sessions.

Privacy and Communication

•Students and parents/guardians agree not to share personal contact information (emails, phone numbers, social media, etc.) during live sessions or in chat boxes.

•Student and family data will be kept confidential and will not be shared outside of the Resplendence Language Arts team.

Payment Policy

All tuition or session fees must be paid in full prior to the start of class or tutoring. Unpaid students will not be admitted to class.

Recording and Privacy Policy

All Resplendence Language Arts sessions may be recorded for internal training, educational review, and quality assurance purposes. By participating, you consent to being recorded. These recordings may be used to improve instruction and resolve issues but will never be publicly distributed without written permission.

To protect the privacy of all participants, sharing personal contact information during sessions is strictly prohibited.

Please note: recordings are not guaranteed to be distributed to students. All recordings are considered proprietary instructional content for internal use unless otherwise stated.

Private Tutoring Recordings Policy

Private tutoring sessions are delivered live and do not include automatic access to video recordings. Due to intellectual property protections and video storage limitations, session replays are not distributed by default.

If a student would like access to a replay:

•A non-refundable fee of $4.99 per session applies

•Recordings must be requested before the session or within 24 hours after

•Approved recordings will be available via secure link for up to 3 days

All tutoring session videos are the property of Resplendence Language Arts and are for personal review only. Redistribution or copying is strictly prohibited.

Parental Supervision for Younger Learners

For students under age 12, a parent or guardian should be nearby during sessions to assist with technical support and ensure a positive learning environment. This helps protect the learning experience for all students.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

All curriculum, slides, activities, handouts, and session recordings are the exclusive intellectual property of Resplendence Language Arts. Purchase of a class grants access to participate, not ownership of the materials.

Materials may not be copied, redistributed, recorded, or reused without prior written permission.

Session Access Disclaimer

Access to lesson slides, recordings, or supplementary materials is not automatic. Materials may be shared at the discretion of the instructor or if outlined in the course description. Please confirm access details with your instructor if needed.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

Refunds are only available before the class begins:

•1–2 days before class start date: 100% refund

•Day of class or later: No refunds allowed

•Missed classes or voluntary withdrawal after the start of class are not eligible for a refund

All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing prior to the first class session.

Students must meet the following expectations to maintain enrollment:

1.Reliable device with internet access (laptop or desktop preferred)

2.Camera turned on during class unless otherwise discussed

3.Engaged presence and respectful participation throughout class
