Introduction to Bubi of Bioko Island – LIVE ONLINE

Duration: 10 weeks

This Equatorial Guinea Bubi Language of Bioko Island.
This course is a beginner’s level 1B language training course for learning the language, giving a historical and cultural context in addition to basic notions of the language itself.

Course meets: Thursday 8pm est & Saturday 10am est

Course Objectives

Briefly, the course objectives are:

1. Introduce the origin and cultural plurality in Bubi culture
2. Plant the interest and curiosity about our African heritage and a broader understanding of its spectrum
3. Make it easy and accessible to approach the learning of a new language.

BEGINNER’S LEVELS

In this cohort:

Each module meets at the same time every week. To complete the full program, you will dedicate 6 Saturdays.

Description

Beginner’s Level One B

There are 6 total classes. Each class is 60 minutes in length.

A recap of what students learned in BL1A. In addition Bubi students will learn names of family members, additional vocabulary, mastering introducing oneself, several responses. As a part of the learning process students will pick up nouns, verbs, and pronouns and learning syntax within the language.

Students will Receive

• 1Access to our exclusive whatsapp group for this class
• Lite Bubi tutor in whatsgroup for this class
• Recording for each class, per week – Accessible for up to 6 days after each class, each week.
• Class Handouts
• Student Activity Workbook
• Mid term and Final
• E-Flash cards

Withdrawal policy:

• 2 days before class 100% Refund or transfer of the class
• Day of class 50% refund
• No refunds or transfers after the 1st day of class. All sales are final after you take the first class.
