Global Citizen Passport

A 9-week live online language and culture journey for children ages 5 to 11.

Students meet once a week and spend 3 weeks exploring each country before traveling to their next destination. Through language, culture, geography, and hands-on activities, children build their own Global Citizen Passport at home.

What Children Will Experience

• Greetings and beginner language phrases
• Country identity and cultural traditions
• Geography, landmarks, oceans, and location learning
• Flags and their meaning
• Music, food, and everyday life
• Passport page and country activities
• Speaking practice and cultural celebration

Weeks 1–3: Tanzania | Kiswahili

Travel to Tanzania and explore Kiswahili through greetings, beginner words and phrases, culture, geography, flag meaning, music, food, traditions, and Global Citizen Passport activities.

Weeks 4–6: Egypt | Arabic

Continue the journey in Egypt with Arabic greetings and beginner expressions while discovering Egyptian culture, geography, landmarks, traditions, food, music, and passport activities.

Weeks 7–9: Colombia | Spanish

Finish the journey in Colombia while learning Spanish greetings and beginner phrases and exploring Colombian culture, geography, traditions, music, food, flag meaning, and final Global Citizen Passport activities.

Materials

Parents will receive printable materials for the program, including passport pages, country activities, flags, and stamp-based pieces children can assemble at home as they travel from country to country.

Children do more than learn a few words. They begin discovering how language connects them to people, places, and cultures around the world.
